Bio:
James Nahikian was born and raised in Troy, Michigan. He is currently a senior at Troy High School and will be attending Bowling Green State University in the fall where he will be studying Sport Management and Journalism.

James has played hockey for 13 years and this past season, played for the Colts of Troy High School. He set the school record for goals in a season with 45 and was named to the Division 1, First Team All-State Hockey Team. Becoming the first player in program history to do so.

James has excelled in writing in the classroom, and hopes to take his passion to the next level. He loves to write about sports, but more specifically, the Detroit Tigers. He plans to continue to gain experience in writing, and believes that the Troy Patch will be a wonderful start for the young writer's career.

Coverage:
He plans on giving his readers an exclusive, unique and dynamic view of the Detroit Tigers and sports in general. He follows every Tiger game, and is very knowledgeable of the team and the sports industry as a whole. He will stay up to date with the baseball team from the Motor City. As well as freelance about the rest in the world of sports.
