5 School Dates to Circle on Your Calendar
Kids in Troy go back school on Sept. 3. Here are four more dates to know.
The end of summer is approaching, and local schools have posted their 2013-14 calendar. Here are five dates which we think could be particularly important, especially if your family is planning a vacation around school. For the complete district calendar, visit troy.k12.mi.us.
1. Sept. 3: First day of school (elementary students have a half-day)
2. Nov. 27-Dec. 1: K-12 students no school/Thanksgiving recess
3. Dec. 23-Jan. 6, 2014: Winter recess
4. Feb. 17-18: Mid-winter recess
5. Apr. 7-14: Spring recess
