Troy Nature Society Sponsors a day at Hidden Lake Gardens in Tipton, Michigan

Troy Nature Society is sponsoring a day at Hidden Lake Gardens in Tipton, Michigan. Explore one of Michigan’s finest public garden experiences on Tuesday, September 24 from 8:30 am - 3 pm. Cost is $35/person and includes coach transportation, garden admission, and garden tour. Departs from the Lloyd A Stage Nature Center, 6685 Coolidge Hwy. (west side of Coolidge, south of South Blvd).

Join us for an early fall excursion to visit Hidden Lake Gardens, MSU’s botanical garden and arboretum situated in the Irish Hills of southeast Michigan. This trip includes a guided tour of the grounds and conservatory, as well as free time to wander on your own. Dress for the weather, with comfortable walking shoes, and remember your camera for those ‘I want one of those’ shots. Please bring a brown bag lunch to enjoy on the grounds (there is no food service at this location). Beverages and snacks may be purchased at the Visitor Center, which also offers books, nature items, and clothing. Participation will be limited to 30 guests. Registration closes on September 16, 2013.
