Kids Head Back to School and More Things You Should Know This Week

• Trash pickup will be delayed by one day this week for residents of Troy (through Tringali Sanitation) due to the Labor Day holiday.
• Among the closures on Monday due to the Labor Day holiday are Troy Recreation offices and City Hall. The Community Center Fitness Area will be closed due to annual maintenance. The Aquatic Center will be open from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

• Troy district teachers and community residents will be picketing at Athens High School to bring attention to a contract dispute from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3.
